If You Build it They Will Come

There’s an old movie called “Field of Dreams.”

In it, Kevin Costner has a dream that if he builds a baseball pitch in a corn field, all the ghosts of the most famous ball players throughout history will show up to play. One of the ghosts says to him, “If you build it, he will come.” 

I’m not sure who “he” was supposed to mean. Anyway, that’s not the point. The point is this… if you have a dream, no matter how ridiculous it seems, no matter how much people tell you you’re crazy, or stupid, or creepy… if you build it, they will come (I prefer “they”). 

If you build it, they will come. 

Whether it’s approaching a thousand women, writing the next great American novel, or starting a lemonade stand… you have to build it. And if you do… 

You get it. They will come. 

For every action there’s a reaction. For every yin, there’s a yang. Night and day, black and white. 

If you’re struggling to get up, try a bit harder. When you do it might surprise you to find yourself floating, or even flying high above the clouds. 

Most men never succeed with their goals because they quit. They figure it’s just too difficult, and give up. 

But if you build it, they will come. 

You want to have an amazing sex life? Get out and approach 100 women. Then approach 500 women. 

You want to be rich? Start a small business. Learn all the skills, focus daily and grow your income one dollar at a time. 

You want a better body, chip away at the gym. Cut your carbs and eat more protein. 

Whatever it is, you won’t immediately see gains and that’s totally fine. 

But if you build it, they will come.
