You’re Doing Fine, Unless You’re Doing Nothing

Some people just aren’t going to like you, no matter what.

Some people are going to love you, even when you suck.

Some people are going to dismiss you until you are accepted by their tribe.

Don’t worry about it. You live in a safe country. As long as you are honest and good, you have nothing to worry about.

If you want to be liked, don’t rock the boat. Stay small, remain quiet, smile a lot, never be late and give out many compliments.

If you want to rise above to find adventure, wealth, romance, power and knowledge; you will probably creep a few people out.

If you want to approach girls but you think it’s creepy–you will be creepy.

If you think it’s normal, natural and fun; you will create that.

Life is scary. That’s ok. If you aren’t scared you are playing too safe.

Avoid guilt and regret, not fear. Even a bad experience will make you a better human.

Most of society believes that meeting your soul mate should “Just happen.” They believe that approaching someone is “Creepy” and “Stalker.” I’m sure people told Steve Jobs his ideas were too radical. I’m sure people told Muhammad Ali he should get a real job.

If you want something bad enough, you will have to pay a price. That price might be letting go of the past: Past friends, past cities, past habits. Learn from the past but do not dwell on it. It happened, now move on.

Seek the company of those who understand and support your mission. Hang out with achievers and upward movers. Avoid alcoholics, negative types, drug addicts, depressives and haters.

As you gain confidence and popularity, a small minority will consider you a demon; someone to be destroyed, mocked, ridiculed and shunned. You have three choices, create your own society, isolate yourself or fall into line with someone else’s belief system.

Get exercise, it makes you feel better every time.

Life is a game. Play it or it will play you.
