There’s an old concept in the seduction community called, “Cat String Theory.” The theory states that basically, if you dangle a string in front of a kitty…the kitty will chase the string. But as soon as you drop the string, the pussy just stares cow eyed and wanders off.

People want what they can’t have. This can be a great tool for seduction. Is it manipulative and button pushing? Heeellll yes! That’s ok though.

“You’re not my type.” There’s a line that will fry a hot girls circuitry. These are the big guns I usually reserve for those, “sort of but not really,” interested chicks; the ones that bust your balls and lead you on. “You’re pretty cool, just not my type.” It’s a funny trick with a reasonably predictable outcome.

All the sudden you are unavailable. All of a sudden this guy has some secret standard that the girl doesn’t live up to. Now she has to work for you. Now she gets to chase. Chicks love this because beta men rarely have standards. Beta men rarely dismiss hot women or challenge them or qualify them. This is alpha male behavior. Alpha men have standards and choice and aren’t worried about offending girls or pushing them away.

It’s funny because I used to fake this behaviour, like a bad joke I was testing on a hostage audience. Sometimes it’s funny and sometimes it flops. But when it hits! Whoooop!

Cat string theory is also called “Push Pull.” Push pull is like, “I love you, but we’ll never get along.” This is another old seduction gimmick. It makes the girl wonder why she’s not good enough. She just had you, and now she’s lost you. Now she’s lost her validation and will have to earn it back.

There’s another name for all this behavior. It’s called:

Flirting

When you are a newbie practicing your push-pull cat string theory takeaways, you’ll initially be astounded at the reactions you’ll receive. You’ll have open mouth girls punching you in the arm, or playfully calling you a “jerk,” or grabbing you and explaining that you will indeed, “get along.” It’s exciting at first! Game works!

The problem is you are still faking it. Inside you actually really want this chick. You want to fuck, cuddle, laugh and have fun. But here you are telling her she isn’t enough. You’re going to piss a lot of girls off because they’ll know you are full of shit.

That’s ok. Piss them off. You need to piss off lots of girls in order to learn what works and what doesn’t. You’ll learn to enjoy women with a good sense of humor. You’ll eventually start hooking up with attractive women of various personality types. Then something amazing will happen…

You Will Develop Standards

Then your cat string theory will be real! You don’t like her attitude, so you ignore her. You don’t like her sense of humor or her taste in clothing or her bad breath or any number of Seinfeld like anxieties. This is when push pull actually works.

When You Have Real Standards, Women Will Qualify Themselves to You

And ultimately that’s what men want. They want women to appreciate them, and work hard for their time and attention. And women want men that appreciate how hard they work to please you.
