Existential Confrontations

There will be moments where life is grand and you roam free, like a master bull amongst cows, and all the universal forces converge to guide you on the perfect path to joy.

And then there are the other days.

Days of blackness. Cheap umbrella days. Fifty rejection days. I’d hurt myself if there wasn’t something to look forward to days.

During times of great despair, create movement, take action: Approach a girl, write a short story, call a long neglected friend, cook a delicious meal, read a novel, climb a large hill, swim naked, drink too much gin, flirt with a cop, make a short film, design an Iphone app, discover new music, paint your bedroom purple, masturbate, work out, clean your bathroom, create a blog, play guitar, paint, cuddle a dog, punch a friend, and so forth.

You can strive for perfection, but life isn’t perfect. You will be disappointed. Be one with your errors. There’s nothing wrong with imperfection. It just is and always will be.
