Schools of Seduction

When this seduction thing first gained a semblance of popularity, men were ripping around practicing their hypnotic scripts on unsuspecting women like drunken wizards fresh out of a Qwuiditch match. Mostly these guys were just creeping chicks out and acting weird. But, some started getting laid and shared their hypno adventures on internet forums.

Then new, younger guys entered the scene. We moved on and memorized long winded routines designed to show how witty and interesting we are. We called them “attraction routines.” It was a lot of work with mixed results. This was also creepy. But, it was getting many guys into the real world to interact with women, and some were getting laid, even if they weren’t sure why.

So we decided to drop all the routines and the “natural” movement was born. As if there is anything natural about hitting on dozens of women a night. The belief is that if you approach and interact with enough women, you become confident. This confidence in return attracts women. Bingo! This is a very popular method as it seems the least creepy.

In my humble opinion I think we can find worthy information in all of these schools, and if you want to become a master ladies man you should practice a little of everything.

Hypnotic Seduction

Let’s look for a minute at hypnotic language. Hypnotic language is basically poetic language. This is what we also call “smooth talking.”

When you want to seduce a woman you should focus less on the content (meaning) of the words, and more on the emotional state the words imply.

Example, let’s say you are the type of man that when feeling, good, on top of the world, and you are sharing that good feeling with everyone around you, feels totally social and awesome, like you can take risks and you are living the dream, blah, blah….

That right there is hypnosis my friends. I said absolute nothing in the content but lead you to imagine a state of being. Because you were focused completely on my words, your thoughts and emotions are under my spell. If I say “Don’t think of big boobs” you still do. People do this naturally all the time though they are unconscious. Have you ever had a friend try to convince you to go to a party by saying “It’s going to be fun, there will be hot girls, it will be awesome. “This puts you into that emotional state. Good Salesmen are masters of poetic persuasion.

In seduction you can use this to your advantage. If you are talking to a woman, always consider what emotional state you are directing her towards. This is why the phrase “always positive” is spewed like a mantra. Sure you should feel good, but you want to make others feel good as well. Seductive language leads the mind to feel good, and feel like it was their choice, not a manipulation on your part. (God I’m a nerd).

Look at this phrase “Hey, you girls look like fun. Hi, I’m Tony.”

This phrase is quite superior to, “Hey, you bitches look grumpy as fuck. I’m Tony.” (Although I could get a laugh out of that one).

In the above example I’m setting up a situational, social and emotional framework for the girl to comply with. “You look fun.”

The key to seductive language is to direct their minds to a place that is conductive to seduction. Talking about sex, combined with proper touching will lead her to think of sex with you. She may not have previously considered sex with you until you the subject was brought up.

Routines

Routines were designed to elicit specific emotional responses to conversational hooks. They weren’t a far leap from hypno babble. The problem with routines like “Hey my friends ex gf burned a box of his photos because she was jealous. What do you think he should do?” is that they are like band aids covering a gaping flesh wound. They don’t address the issue of inner game. Strip away the routines and you still have a guy that needs a magic spell to pickup women.

Natural

The Natural method relies on pumping a guys’ state and then transferring that state to women. So if you feel good, she feels good, and therefore she will want to sleep with you. The natural method is responsible for bringing pickup artistry into the acceptance of the mainstream. Rarely will you see tv or magazines promoting routine based, or hypnotic based advice. It’s all natural, safe.

Natural is great but it neglects that not all guys have amazing improv skills. Not all guys understand human psychology. It relies heavily on playing the numbers and does not focus on persuasion, and often pickup comes down to persuasion.

The best seducers rely on elements from all of these schools. If you adhere to any one method you risk missing out on the lessons that the others offer. What method do you prefer and how is it helping you find success with women?
