For daygame in Winnipeg, yes, there are malls. But I found them lacking, to say the least. Winnipeg has some ghetto ass malls.
It’s not so bad in the summer. But for daygame enthusiasts, you won’t find any high urban density locations. This makes daygaming a bit tricky; it’s very hot, very humid, and most people have cars. So there just isn’t a lot of foot traffic any time of the year.
If you know the city there are festivals, or events you can attend. But mostly you will rely on the luck of finding a beauty on the street, or in a cafe.
It’s not that bad, but not good enough to attract dating coaches
If you’re into nightlife or cool cafes, you’ve got Osborne Village. The bar scene isn’t that bad, with a few high end clubs, and a lot of student bars. If I taught nightgame I’d be willing to travel there, but the scene is so small, so most coaches skip it for Vancouver, Montreal or Toronto.
One thing Winnipeg has going for it: it has a high student population, and actually a lot of hot girls. I was really surprised by how many pretty women live in Winnipeg. It must be an economical place to attend school. When I lived there in 2007, It took me about a week to land a girlfriend.
Because Winnipeg is such an undesirable city, the talent pool is low. I found absolutely no problem finding dates, or getting an attractive girlfriend there. It’s like women in Winnipeg are dying to meet men with a little game. Maybe most of the guys are hicks, or boring. It is more like a small town than a city. After all, the population rests at around 700k. So if you have a bit of metropolitan flair, you’ve travelled a bit, have some knowledge about culture, a little game and fashion sense, you’ll stick out and above the other guys.

Winnipeg also has a very, very low cost of living. Rent is about half that of Vancouver or Toronto.
