How To Meet Women In Thailand

So this March 2018, I’m heading once more to Thailand, in part for work, to help a young man overcome his crippling shyness, and then staying for my own adventure.

Backpacking in Thailand there are limitless opportunities to meet not only beautiful women, but people from all around the great big ball. 

If you’re a man reading this, likely you’re considering a trip to Thailand, and you probably want single women. 

I’ve found most male love tourists fall into two camps: They like Thai girls, or tourist girls. These two types of girls have different strategies.

Tourist Girls in Thailand

Most tourist girls are usually in one location for two, maybe three days, tops. So when you meet them, they’re probably just arriving, or just leaving.

Tourist girls are usually from G8 countries, like Canada, the Uk, Germany, Japan, and so forth. But in Thailand you will find many Eastern European, Chinese, African, Asian, and other developing nation beauties, as well.

Most of these young women are looking for a little fun, and maybe romance. But how do you meet them? How do you attract them?

Knowledgable Traveller Game

You might know the local scene: the best waterfalls, the nicest beaches, the tastiest restaurants. You’re just a fun guy and want to explore, as a tourist yourself, and you can share this adventure with the girls. This is a relatively simple strategy, but you still need game.

Be the guy with the ideas. Know where the waterfalls are? The best restaurants? The best parties? Or are you just the most adventurous? If you’re the leader of the pack, you can entice plenty of tourists girls to spend their days and nights with you.

Be active, not passive.

You can meet tourist girls anywhere: in restaurants, hostels, towns, cities, boats, beaches. The key is to lead them to the fun, like a tour guide. And at the same time, be seductive.

Women are attracted to leaders. So be one.

Tourist girls will be either in groups with other backpackers, or alone. I advise you find girls who are travelling alone, as they will most likely be looking for a guy to travel with.

Vacationing women want sex and companionship too. They also want to feel safe and protected. Good news is that you, as a guy, can provide all that. So be the first to meet her, and try to keep her away from backpacker parties. After that, she might become your travel girlfriend, for a day, or a week at least.

Backpacker Party Game

Party game is a different beast. It means going on pub crawls, staying out late, competing with lots of thirsty backpacker guys, and playing copious amounts of beer pong. It’s tough work if you don’t enjoy partying until dawn.

Usually it comes down to last man standing gets the girl. Not a good strategy if you’re a recovering alcoholic, or enjoy getting up early. But if you like to party there are endless beach raves, like the full moon party on Koh Phangan.

Party game means being fun, fun, fun. More fun than the fifty other guys practicing their game. Most girls aren’t sluts, but many will hook up if you play it right and out-game the competition.

Personally I prefer meeting women in the daytime, and going to bed early. But if you love to party, there are few places better for that than Thailand, and islands like Koh Phi Phi, or Koh Phangan, for a start.

Local Girls

Local Thai girls are by far the easiest way to score in Thailand, as Thai girls are very, very open to dating foreign men.

Sure, you can meet the bad girls at meat market bars. But I’m assuming you want to meet nice, clean, good girls. So meet in malls by cold approaching, or Tinder, which is a popular strategy. The problem is girls often want to know you’re sticking around and not just backpacking. So you have to get them to like you enough to not care that you’re only in town for a few days. 

Also, be wary of ladyboys and pros. As a general rule, if their hands are bigger than yours, or they are sexually aggressive, they are men. Sometimes the ladyboys are prettier than real Thai girls. Be alert!

I haven’t personally dated any Thai women, but I know they can be loyal girlfriends, as long as you’re not some fat, old, beta chump they can milk for foreign cash. I also heard most are sexually liberated, as Thailand has undergone somewhat of a sexual revolution, akin to the 60’s in America.

Follow The Horizon Game

Another, and my personal favourite for travel, is Follow The Horizon Game.

Basically, you just travel. spend a few days in each place, and try your best. In some places you meet women, other days, you don’t. But you’ll likely meet women on boats, buses, parks, tourist locations, and so on.

The problem is you are going west, and they are going east. So do you go with her, or her travel pod? Are you cool to spend two or three days with a group, and not get laid? This is usually what young people do. They get into what I call, “travel pods.” Like a bunch of dolphins that move together, eat together, and sleep together.

Personally, I can’t stay in pods for long, as like to have a travel girlfriend, rather than a string of drunken one night stands, or group activities with gap year travel pods. But it’s up to you.

All the above options can be fun

Either way, whether you meet women or not, Thailand, and the surrounding countries like Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam, and the Philippines, are a total blast. It’s almost impossible not to meet women, as long as you’re social, and have the intention towards romance.

And besides, sex and romance isn’t everything. Travel in itself is very rewarding.
