In the last several years I’ve taken one 3-day bootcamp with Tony D and taken two month-long mentorship programs with him. I plan on taking more programs with him as I continue to get better at attracting and dating women.
I’ve taken bootcamps from many top dating coaches in the industry and Tony D is, by far, the one who helped me progress the most. I’ve written at least one similar testimonial for another dating coach and I regret that now because he was definitely no Tony D.
Tony is maddening to game with because he has the laziest style I’ve ever seen, but it’s so effective you’ll want to punch him in the face. One weekend we went out and he was goofing around with “broken man” game, where he kept opening girls by complaining about his insecurities and how he didn’t think he could get women. The result? He was getting makeouts left and right just to show me a person could make anything work if they were doing the right things.
While I was working with him on our last month-long program I saw him coach a fifty-something Australian bloke who was visiting the city. On the first day the Aussie was pretty much what you’d expect from an aging man removed from the dating scene, but on his last day he was dressed with style, chatting up women left and right and just being a stud. I think the highlight for everyone was the last approach we saw him do when he saw a stunning hired gun working at the mall that he wanted to talk to. She was a very young, very attractive Indian girl. He walked up to her, told her he thought she was pretty, flirted with her for several minutes, then walked away with a number and a date. It was definitely a moment everyone wanted to clap him on the back.
As for me, personally, Tony D really spoke to every single limiting belief I have in game, better than anyone else I’ve ever met, seen, heard, or read. It was like being deprogrammed, step-by-step. I was really impressed with how flexible he was as he was working with me: not only did he put a great deal of effort into getting me to the next level, he really paid attention to what style of teaching I responded to best. Every time he saw a new limiting belief or self-sabotaging habit pop up, he made me put in the work to quash it on the spot.
The other thing I really got out of working with him was the way he added new skills to my game. Several times he would see the things that I was doing as a natural part of my personality and see a way for me to turn it into a pick-up tool. I never needed to learn anything that was far out of my comfort zone or that would be difficult to recall in a moment of anxiety or hesitation, he would simply give me one additional detail to add to things that were simply facets of my personality.
A perfect example is that I warmed up by just walking around complimenting people: “I like your shirt, I like your style, I like your whatever.” It was simply something I did to get myself talking with people and after about 10-20 of these I’d be ready to start opening sets for real. Tony simply told me to add a step: after every compliment, offer insight about why I liked it or what it reminded me of. This immediately introduced me to the girl as someone with knowledge and authority. This was so simple, but instantly my 10-20 throwaway warm-ups became intense 10-20 sets with absolutely no additional effort on my part. He gave me a similar instruction regarding kino and, immediately, I was creating a physical little bubble between myself and the girl in every single set I was in. I really have to emphasize how amazing this was because pick-up has been a long, difficult struggle for me to add skills consistently. Being able to turn my natural personality into a skillful pick-up personality with no additional effort or anxiety was pretty important to me.
At the end of my last month-long program with him I had several amazing sexual encounters with stunning women, but the one that really stood out was the 21-year-old model from Mexico. My experience and connection with her was the fantasy I had in mind when I started to study pick-up and I actually saw it become a reality. I left Tony with an amazing enthusiasm for the future and a real, proven confidence in my ability to attract the women I really wanted, something I had never had before.
On a side note, when I was working with Tony another pick-up instructor in the city hit the news because his students were freaking out women on the street and one of the students had so badly lashed out at a woman they had repeatedly approached that she felt compelled to complain to the media. A shitstorm erupted for three weeks and it was interesting to see Tony’s response. While the pick-up coach in question was raising controversy and pushing everyone’s buttons, maybe even getting banned from a club or two, Tony did a few simple interviews that he utterly nailed with his straightforward charm, converting the interviewers into supporters. Tony and his students ended up looking at the entire affair with bemusement as the other pick-up guys were getting busted in their approaches and we just kept doing our thing because we weren’t pick-up artists, we were just outgoing, confident guys doing outgoing, confident things.
