The Womanizing Cads of Cinema – Part 1
I watch a lot of movies. I have a 46” lcd, and it’s…really big. When I purchased it, I called my gf and said, “You have to see it. It’s soooo big.” She was so adorable, playing Grand Theft Auto on it. Her painted toes sticking out from the blanket while she yelled obscenities at the police.
“You’re only using me for my huge…t.v.,” I told her, standing beside it, stroking it. “Yeah…you like that baby? You like that don’t you? Yeah.”
“Tony! Don’t do that!” She’d yell, laughing.
I miss her.
But I still have my t.v.
Here are four seduction movies you’ve probably never heard of. All of these male archetypes have similarities: Status, power, masculine energy, cock-sure attitude, purpose and entitlement. They have the attributes of the dark triad that women find irresistible: Narcissism, Machiavellianism and Psychopathy.
These guys are sociopathic sex addicts for sure, but there is still a lot to be learned from them. Study their body language, vocal tonality, and dedication to their craft. Mimic the womanizers of cinema, take what is useful and discard the rest.
1. Dangerous Liaisons
Set in Baroque France, a scheming widow and her lover make a bet regarding the corruption of a recently married, incredibly pious woman. John Malcovich’s performance as the ultimate cad, a dark-side seducer of the highest order, is stellar. And you get to see 18 year old Uma Thurman’s boobs.
2. Turkish Delight

Paul Verhoeven, director of such glorious films such as RoboCop, Basic Instinct, and Starship Troopers paints the picture of young dutch libertine, a gifted sculptor, in his quest to bed as many beautiful women as possible. Of course, he meets his match in a young beauty that drives him mad with desire, for a time. A stellar portrait of a badboy artist in his prime.
3. The Aviator
Leo Dicaprio owns it as Howard Hughes, the ultra rich entrepreneur, artist, adventurer of his time. During the film he seduces Hollywood’s finest bachelorettes like he’s drinking from a fountain.
4. An Education
Set in 1960’s London, the story follows a young girl as she is seduced by a group of high class art thieves. A classic seduction film.
Movies are great, but if you want a real seduction story, try my acclaimed first novel, A Thousand Tiny Failures.
Wicked Tony !! Thanks for the heads up on some good cinema.
Personally , I’m to much of a softie.
I could never “wham , bam , thank – you ma’am.” I allways think I would be breaking their hearts. Their delicate , fragile , ( the way I see it ) , hearts !
Have pity on me !!
